1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix
1 packet Brown Gravy Mix
1 C. Water
1/2 C. Butter (salted or unsalted)
Roast (any cut of roast you prefer)
Vegetables - Potatoes, Carrots, Onions, etc.
- Thaw roast over night. In the morning, place roast in crock-pot.(Browning the roast on the stove first can be done before placing into crock-pot.)
- Add 1/2 to 1 cup of water in the bottom.
- Evenly sprinkle Ranch Dressing Mix packet and Brown Gravy Mix packets over top of roast.
- Cut butter into slices or cubes and place sporadically on top of roast.
- Place lid on crock-pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. (let's be honest, I've cooked it for 12 hours once!)
- Two hours before roast is done, chop any vegetables desired and place in crock pot (on top of roast) until vegetables are tender.
